Michael Moore is desperately trying to answer one question in his new anti-Trump film “Fahrenheit 11/9”: “How the f— did this happen?”

The man behind “Fahrenheit 9/11” and “Sicko” released the trailer for his latest documentary this week, which explores the election of President Trump and his appeal to millions of Americans.

“How the f— did we get here, and how the f— do we get out?” the director’s YouTube page asks visitors.

Snippets from “Fahrenheit 11/9” show the liberal activist seeking the help of teen gun control activist David Hogg to make sense of it all.

“How do you deal with this? You’re never going to be able to un-see what you saw,” the Parkland, Florida, shooting survivor says.

Mr. Moore’s promotional effort refers to Mr. Trump as “the last president” while juxtaposing images of him with neo-Nazi rallies and clips of angry left-wing activists.

“How the f— did this happen?” Mr. Moore asks before a guitar solo of the national anthem rounds out the trailer.

The film will premier at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival this September.
