LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former President Barack Obama has endorsed three Nevada Democrats running for the U.S. Senate and House this November.

Obama announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he is backing Rep. Jacky Rosen as she challenges Republican Dean Heller in what’s expected to be one of the closest Senate battles this year.

Rosen’s campaign released a statement from Obama where he says Rosen is a strong, thoughtful leader and the future of his signature Affordable Care Act and the Supreme Court are at stake in the election.

Obama also endorsed Democratic philanthropist Susie Lee, who is running to replace Rosen in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District. She’s facing Republican Danny Tarkanian.

In Nevada’s 4th Congressional District, Obama is backing former Rep. Steven Horsford. Horsford is in a rematch against former Republican Rep. Cresent Hardy.
