DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A man accused of shooting at his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend has surrendered himself to police.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution quotes Decatur Police as saying 23-year-old Rickeyon Jenkins fired at the couple as they left a hotel on April 15. The release says the couple fled in their car and Jenkins pursued them, shooting the vehicle and ramming it with his own car.

The uninjured couple called police when they had evaded Jenkins.

Jenkins turned himself over to police on Monday. He’s charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

The newspaper did not say if Jenkins had a lawyer.
