SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say a pedestrian has been killed after being struck by an Amtrak passenger train in Seattle.

Police tell KOMO-TV that the person died Saturday morning in the collision that occurred just before 8 a.m. The person’s name hasn’t been released.

Amtrak spokeswoman Christina Leeds says the train had 93 passengers and no one on the train was injured.

Seattle police are in charge of the investigation.
