What to watch for: The only main change to Barry Trotz’s lines from Game 3 to Game 4 was a decision to move Chandler Stephenson up to the second line, where he’ll skate with Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie. The Capitals coach switched Jakub Vrana out to the fourth line with Jay Beagle and Alex Chiasson. Trotz insisted Thursday not to “read too much into that,” adding that Vrana has played with the Beagle line before.
