SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a Vermont man who was expecting to have a pizza delivered was arrested on an outstanding warrant when he mistook a police cruiser for a pizza delivery car.
Police say 29-year-old Michael Gonzalez of Underhill was arrested in South Burlington early Sunday after approaching the vehicle. Police say he was arrested on a warrant for careless and negligent operation. Police say he also possessed a misdemeanor amount of suspected heroin and ecstasy.
Gonzalez was being held and has been cited to appear in court on the drug charges on Monday. It was not immediately known if he was being represented by an attorney.
