Eric Bolling’s tenure at Fox News Channel is over.
The former host of “The Specialists” and “Cashin’ In” is out at Fox after a harassment investigation that began in early August. Mr. Bolling’s exit comes just over one month since Huffington Post contributor Yashar Ali published a story accusing him of sending at least two female colleagues an “unsolicited” photo of his genitals.
“Fox News Channel is canceling ’The Specialists,’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” the network said in a statement, Variety reported Friday. “We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”
Mr. Bolling vowed Aug. 7 on Twitter to clear his name and proceeded three days later with the filing of a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Mr. Ali.
“This anonymously sourced and uncorroborated story is false, defamatory, and obviously intended to destroy this good man’s career and family,” Mr. Bolling’s lawyer, Michael J. Bowe, said in a statement at the time. “We will defend Eric aggressively in court, where actual facts, based on evidence, testimony, and cross-examination, will belie these anonymous accusations.”
The Huffington Post’s editor-in-chief, Lydia Polgreen, said the website would financially back its contributor over the story, which cited 14 anonymous sources corroborating the allegations.

Fox aims to keep Mr. Bolling’s former co-hosts on “The Specialists,” Eboni Williams and Kat Timpf, on as contributors, Variety reported.
