President Trump said Thursday that North Korea is “behaving badly” and that taking military action against Pyongyang is “certainly an option.”
“I would prefer not going the route of the military, but it’s certainly something that could happen,” Mr. Trump said at a White House news conference. “Our military has never been stronger. Each day new equipment is delivered, new and beautiful equipment. Hopefully we’re not going to have to use it on North Korea. If we have to use it, it will be a sad day for North Korea.”
Mr. Trump added, “North Korea’s behaving badly, and it’s got to stop.”
North Korea said it successfully tested a hydrogen bomb Sunday that is capable of being fitted onto a missile that could reach the U.S.
