SHERRILL, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a body has been recovered from a marsh along the Mississippi River in eastern Iowa.

Sherrill Fire Chief Nick Jaeger told the Telegraph Herald that his department recovered the body around 1 a.m. Tuesday. The marsh sits on the north side of Dubuque.

Authorities had been searching for the man since his family members sought help late Monday night. His name hasn’t been released.
