MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man who authorities say failed to mention dropping his infant son but later posted about it on Facebook has been indicted on aggravated assault and child endangerment charges.

The indictment against Brendon Miller was handed up Thursday by a Morris County grand jury. The 25-year-old Jefferson man faces up to 20 years in prison if he’s convicted on both counts.

Authorities have said the child was nearly five months old when he was injured Feb. 16. He was treated at a hospital for bleeding on the brain and later released.

Authorities say Miller didn’t report dropping the baby when he was interviewed by police, but posted about dropping the child on Facebook almost two weeks later.

It wasn’t known Sunday if Miller has retained an attorney.
