BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Auto parts maker Holley Performance Products is opening a facility in Franklin that will bring 30 new jobs to south central Kentucky.
The company headquartered in Bowling Green is known for its automotive racing and performance parts. Holley is spending about $9 million on an existing building in the city to make it a distribution center.
The facility is expected to open next year. With the additional jobs, Holley will employ about 330 people in Kentucky.
Holley makes fuel injection, fuel pumps, intake manifolds, ignition products, exhaust and many other products for street performance, race and marine applications.
In 1952, Holley located its carburetor manufacturing plant to Bowling Green and moved its corporate headquarters there in 1993.
