FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts man who police say stole more than $10,000 worth of tools from a Home Depot store has been arraigned.

The MetroWest Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/2whUIF1 ) that 54-year-old Victor Vangel, of Boston, was arraigned Monday on three counts of larceny.

Prosecutors say on three occasions, Vangel walked into the Natick Home Depot, loaded up a cart with tools and walked out without paying. Investigators say the latest theft occurred Sept. 7.

Police say they identified Vangel after reviewing surveillance video.

Vangel currently has open larceny cases in two other district courts. He is also on probation for a larceny case out of Suffolk Superior Court.

An attorney for Vangel says her client is battling substance abuse.
