Bill Russell appears to be in support of the NFL protests. A photo of Russell taking a knee surfaced on Twitter on Tuesday — with Russell wearing his Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The photo appeared on the Twitter account, “TheBillRussell,” which is unverified and has only posted once.
