Ousted Fox News commentator Bill O’Reilly is slated to return to his former network Tuesday for the first time since being forced from his longtime hosting gig amid allegations of sexual harassment.
Fellow conservative pundit Sean Hannity is set to interview his former colleague on his nightly Fox News program, “Hannity,” marking Mr. O’Reilly’s appearance on the network since losing his job in April.
“So much to talk about!” Mr. Hannity tweeted Tuesday.
Mr. O’Reilly, 68, was hired by Fox News in 1996 and hosted “The O’Reilly Factor” until earlier this year, after being accused of sexual harassment, abuse and racial discrimination by his former co-workers.
The New York Times first reported in April that Mr. O’Reilly and Fox News had paid $13 million to settle lawsuits dating back to 2002, and advertisers soon began dropping his program by the dozens. He announced a two-week vacation later that month as the allegations intensified but never returned to the network.
“Nobody is a perfect person, but I can go to sleep at night knowing very well that I never mistreated anyone under my watch over 42 years,” Mr. O’Reilly told NBC News earlier this month.
He’s currently on tour promoting his newest book, “Killing England,” and slated to appear on Mr. Hannity’s syndicated radio program earlier Tuesday afternoon.
