CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Two Wyoming women pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in a drug trafficking case that also includes a Casper doctor facing charges in federal court.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2wiTppx ) Roxanne Hagen and Martha Zitterkopf both took plea deals Monday that would keep them out of prison, assuming they do not violate the terms of their probation.
Hagen pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to deliver Xanax. Zitterkopf pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to deliver Xanax and one count of conspiracy to deliver oxycodone. If both successfully complete probation, neither will serve prison time.
Zitterkopf says she received the pills from Dr. Shakeel Khan.
Khan and his wife, Lyn Khan, face a total of 45 federal charges in their case. They have pleaded not guilty.
