When the Washington Redskins failed to re-sign Pierre Garcon in the offseason, there was always a chance the wide receiver would make plays to make Redskins fans envious.
As it turns out, that happened as early as Week 3.
Garcon had seven catches for 142 yards in the 49ers’ 41-39 loss Thursday to the Los Angeles Rams — including two “SportsCenter” Top 10 quality highlights.
Garcon signed a five-year, $47.5 million deal with San Francisco in March.

Redskins fans on Twitter were, predictably, regretful.
Dear Pierre Garçon,

Redskins were so stupid for letting Pierre Garcon walk

Former Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan might have agreed with that last tweet, telling CSN’s JP Finlay he would have never let Garcon walk in free agency.
