CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Police investigating an explosion from a small, homemade device in a downtown Cheyenne alley have arrested a 16-year-old boy.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports https://goo.gl/NMsFjb authorities searched the boy’s Laramie County home and arrested him Wednesday on a charge of possessing explosives.

Cheyenne police say a device similar to a pipe bomb detonated behind a corrections halfway house on Monday morning. Nobody was injured, and no property was damaged.
