OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - A dozen people have been arrested on charges they were connected to a human trafficking operation.

The Daily Times of Salisbury, Maryland, reported Monday that the Ocean City Police Department made the arrests over three days late last week.

Most of the charges were for alleged prostitution. But a few of the men were charged with drug-related crimes, including possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.

The officers from Ocean City worked alongside the Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team, Maryland State Police and Homeland Security Investigations.
