‘Permanent Ivanka’ keeping NYC plastic surgeon busy; patients dropping $50K for look

A plastic surgeon in New York City says business is booming with a subset of clients — women who want to look like Ivanka Trump.

Specific botox, cheek implants, and rhinoplasty procedures designed to make a woman look like President Trump’s elder daughter have kept Dr. Norman Rowe busy once a week since last summer. The surgeon said over the weekend that he is amazed at the popularity of two procedures; one involves “temporary fillers” with a $30,000 to $40,000 price tag, while the “Permanent Ivanka” tallies $45,000 to $50,000.

“Since the summer of ’16 … [it’s been] maybe four a month; one a week. Maybe they just like the look, but also that [Ivanka’s] a powerful woman, self-confident, part of the first family. Do they want to be her? Yes, deep down, maybe,” the surgeon told The New York Post on Saturday.

Dr. Rowe added that Ms. Trump’s natural beauty, entrepreneurial success and power-player status seems to supersede the state’s “blue” voting patterns.

“I don’t think [liberalism] plays a role in the least,” he told the newspaper. “I think it has to do with somebody who you respect the way they look, and I don’t think it’s anything to do with whether you’re blue or red.”

The surgeon then joked, “I’ve never had anybody come in and say, ’Make me into a Donald!’ ”
