BURLINGTON, N.H. (AP) - Burlington teachers and their supporters are holding a rally as their labor strike continues.

Members of the Burlington Education Association went on strike Thursday. Teachers say the issue is scheduling time for teachers to prepare outside the classroom and to work one-on-one with students. The school board says teachers made new, unexpected demands at the last minute.

The union is holding a rally at City Hall Park on Sunday afternoon featuring parents, teachers and other supporters. Organizers say the goal is to show their commitment to schools Burlington deserves.
