ATLANTA (AP) - Two teenage brothers have pleaded guilty to murder charges in the shooting of a 50-year-old man last fall outside an Atlanta gas station.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports a judge gave 17-year-old Charlie McDaniel and his 16-year-old brother, Isaac, each 45 year sentences, with 18 years to be served in prison.

The brothers were charged in the November slaying of Anthony Brooks, who was shot three times outside a gas station. Prosecutors say Brooks confronted the brothers about stolen cars in the area. The shooting was recorded by a security camera at the gas station.

The newspaper reported the McDaniel brothers had been arrested and released multiple times and had more than 100 interactions with police before the slaying.
