TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) - A 9-year-old Utah girl was brought safely to police about six hours after she was reported missing.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2x3ZHuc ) Zayaah Caldwell’s mother reported her missing Thursday after she didn’t return from Fremont Elementary School. Caldwell later was found less than a mile away by some people who had seen information about her disappearance online.
It was not immediately clear where the Taylorsville girl had been or what she was doing during that time.
Unified police Lt. Brian Lohrke says Caldwell’s mother told police she normally comes straight home after school and has never done anything like this before.
