New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. participated in individual drills during practice Thursday for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the preseason.
Beckham also ran routes at “not high speed” and took some mental reps at the end of practice, according to the Associated Press. ESPN said Beckham revealed on Thursday that it was a 6-8 week injury.
Beckham, who hurt his ankle against the Cleveland Browns on Aug. 21, missed the Giants’ first game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants managed just three points Sunday and quarterback Eli Manning struggled without his top wideout.
For the first time in almost a month, Giants’ WR Odell Beckham Jr. is practicing today. He is participating in individual drills.
