OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - The University of Mississippi is beginning a bike share program, with six hubs on campus and one downtown.
The Oxford Eagle reports that the web-based rental program will launch Wednesday.
University students, staff and faculty can get two free hours a day, paying $4 an hour after that. Others ride free for an hour, paying $5 an hour after that. Bicycles can be reserved using the company’s mobile app .
Campus hubs will be at the Student Union, Luckyday Residential College, Lamar Hall, Minor Hall, the bike shop and the Robert C. Khayat Law Center. The downtown Oxford hub will be in the courtyard behind City Hall.
After registering, riders get a 4-digit code to unlock a bike.
