Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was at the San Francisco 49ers game Sunday and posted a message on Instagram supporting the team’s former quarterback.

Curry, who was at the game to cheer on his hometown Carolina Panthers, posted a picture with the 49ers field and the hashtag, “#freeKaep” in support of Colin Kaepernick.

Before the game, Curry told the Charlotte Observer that Kaepernick deserves an opportunity to be in the league.

“He definitely should be in the NFL,” Curry said. “If you’ve been around the NFL, the top 64 quarterbacks, and he’s not one of them? Then I don’t know what game I’m watching.”
