Police investigate suspicious death on downtown street

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Police in the Maine city of Portland are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on a downtown street.

Police tell the Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/2gVMYWE ) that the dead man was discovered by a passerby early Sunday morning in the Old Port section of the city.

Authorities say the death is suspicious.

The deceased’s name has not been released.
