PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Police in Rhode Island say they’re looking for a driver in a hit-and-run that sent four people to the hospital.

Providence police Lt. Luis San Lucas tells The Providence Journal that the crash early Sunday happened when a vehicle crossed a center lane as it was taking a right and hit an oncoming car.

The four occupants of the car that was hit were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with unknown injuries.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle fled from the car and has not been located.
