All you do as Vice President is go to funerals — and, if you’re Mike Pence, you kick the NFL and its anthem kneelers in their overinflated footballs.

No one has ever doubted Mr. Pence has always played for the patriots, the ones all across this land who stand for the Stars and Stripes and put our country first.

Several of the San Franciso 49ers didn’t stand at the Colts’ stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday. The Colts did stand for the anthem but with arms linked, showing unity over what?

“Social injustice?”

In a land that has worked harder, longer and more successfully to achieve equality of opportunity and social justice than any other country on earth.

So at the end of the National Anthem, Mr. Pence and his wife did what any patriots would do, they got up from their seats, turned their backs on the field and exited the stadium.

Mr. Pence then tweeted: “I left today’s Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our flag, or our national anthem.”

Democrats, “protestors,” masked BLMers, cop-killers, arsonists, vandals and looters say the whole thing was planned by the vice president to make a statement.

Hope so.

Call it social justice.
