MILWAUKEE (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a teenager suspected of running a red light and causing a fatal crash in Milwaukee before fleeing.
The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say the suspect blew through the red light on the city’s northwest side and hit the victim’s vehicle. A 48-year-old woman who was a passenger in that vehicle was killed. The man behind the wheel was injured.
Police say a 19-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in the fatal crash.
