WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Peter Pujals threw for 257 yards and rushed for a touchdown, Jackson McLarty made three short field goals, and Holy Cross beat Georgetown 24-10 on Saturday.

Pujals’ 18th career rushing touchdown came after a fake handoff from the 1 with 6:24 left in the game and Diquan Walker added the 2-point conversion.

Georgetown turned it over on downs on its final two possessions of the game.

Gabe Guild had the only other touchdown for Holy Cross (3-6, 2-2 Patriot League), a 1-yard run for a 7-3 lead early in the second quarter. McLarty’s long was from 31 yards.

Georgetown (1-7, 0-3) has lost seven straight since defeating Campbell 16-10 in its season opener.

Gunther Johnson was 17-of-38 passing for 181 yards and a touchdown for the Hoyas. Tommy Jesson’s 14-yard touchdown reception pulled Georgetown within 13-10 with 12 seconds left in the third.
