OPINION:
Happy 70th birthday, Hillary Clinton — you old arrogant, entitled out-of-touch has-been.
Ouch. That was pretty much the message from Donald Trump Jr. to Clinton via Twitter.
Trump Jr. took a post from last October that featured a childhood photograph of Clinton with the message, “Happy birthday to this future president.” And then he ran with it.
He wrote: “A year later the arrogance and entitlement in this tweet is exactly why it was never going to happen. #maga.”
But he wasn’t quite done.
Trump Jr. also took a Fox & Friends post — “FOX NEWS ALERT: DOJ lifts gag order, allows FBI informant to testify on Russian Uranium Deal in front of Congress” — and retweeted it with an image of a cake with lit candles.
“Happy birthday Hillary,” he wrote.
Again — ouch.
Rep. John Lewis went the other way, with blinders.
“Happy Birthday, Madame President @HillaryClinton,” he wrote.
Really? Really, John Lewis?
Clinton’s currently promoting her book, “What Happened,” a first-person account of why she lost the presidential election — complete with all the finger-pointing space 512 pages can provide.
