WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) - Luke Medlock went 25 of 45 for 258 yards with a touchdown to lead Fordham over Georgetown 17-9 on Saturday.

Medlock connected with Austin Longi on a 10-yard touchdown pass to culminate a five-play, 75-yard third-quarter drive to give the Rams (2-6, 1-2 Patriot League) the lead for good. Andrew Mevis added a 31-yard fourth-quarter field goal - his third of the game - for insurance in the fourth quarter.

Georgetown (1-6, 0-2) tied it at 6-6 late in the second quarter on Gunther Johnson’s 12-yard touchdown pass to Max Edwards. But the extra point was blocked and returned by Jesse Bramble for a 2-point defensive PAT and Fordham led 8-6 at intermission. The Hoyas took their first possession of the second half 67 yards on 11 plays before settling for Brad Hurst’s 27-yard field goal and led briefly 9-8.

Johnson went 17 of 35 for 196 yards for Georgetown.
