NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Fans at a New Jersey Devils game have given an assist to a young fan during the national anthem.
The fans jumped in to save the 14-year-old Jersey City girl’s performance after she forgot the words midway through the song Friday.
The crowd of more than 14,000 took over from there to sing the anthem together .
The Devils then lost to the San Jose Sharks, 3-0.
