LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Latest on a report of an armed man at a Los Angeles hospital (all times local):

A search and evacuation of a Los Angeles hospital triggered by a report of an armed man has ended.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the search Thursday did not locate a suspect inside Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and the investigation is continuing.

Deputy Guillermina Saldana says the call about a man with a gun came in shortly after 9 a.m. She says there were no reports of shots fired.

Television news footage showed a crowd of people including some in wheelchairs and on gurneys leaving the hospital on the north edge of the city.

Sheriff’s deputies have responded to a report of a possible person with a gun at a Los Angeles hospital.

Deputy Guillermina Saldana says the call came in shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in the San Fernando Valley. She says there are no reports of shots fired.

Television news footage showed a crowd of people including some in wheelchairs and on gurneys leaving the hospital on the north edge of the city.

A hospital spokeswoman tells KTLA-TV that employees have been ordered to stay in place.
