SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say they have arrested two people in connection to the Sunday shooting in which officers opened fire on a car they say backed suddenly toward them.
The Seattle Times reports that police arrested a 20-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman on Friday but no additional details on the investigation or suspects were available.
The department launched investigations into the officers who fired dozens of rounds at the vehicle as it sped away. Police say the officers were approaching the car on foot when the suspects backed the vehicle toward them. No officers were injured.
Two separate investigations are ongoing into the officers to see if they committed a criminal violation and if department policy was followed.
