SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A bomb threat to a Massachusetts Walmart was apparently a hoax.

Dennis Leger of the Springfield Fire Department says calls to the Springfield Walmart came in around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The building was evacuated and the arson and bomb squad conducted a search of the building. State police bomb-snuffing dogs were also brought into the building.

Leger and a state police spokesman both said nothing suspicious was found.

There was no word on arrests.
