ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating after a man apparently jumped nearly 400 feet to his death from the top of a downtown hotel.

The incident happened Monday night at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark. Police Maj. Mike Sack told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that witnesses saw the man walk to the ledge of the Three Sixty bar at the top of the hotel, climb over and jump. Sack says surveillance video also captured the man jumping.

The victim’s name has not been released. Police say he was in his late 20s.
