GREENVILLE, Del. (AP) - Three people, including two teenagers, were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Greenville.

Delaware police say the wreck occurred just before 7:30 a.m. on Friday on Kennett Pike when a Jeep driven by a 17-year-old crossed the double yellow line and struck an Audi head on.

The teenage driver was taken to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition. The teen’s 16-year-old passenger was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a 57-year-old man, was also admitted to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say all three were wearing seatbelts, and that alcohol is not expected to have played a role in the wreck. No charges have been filed.
