STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES - Just 11 days after Houston beat LA in World Series, their football teams get together. … Texans’ offense is no slouch, ranking third in league with 28.6 points per game. However, that was with rookie Deshaun Watson at quarterback. … QB Tom Savage threw first career TD pass last week in first start since Watson’s knee injury sidelined him for season, but otherwise struggled in loss to Indy. … Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins has TD catch in five straight games and eight TDs overall. He set single-season franchise record with 11 TD catches in 2015. … LB Jadeveon Clowney has team-leading five sacks. Texans have four players with at least two sacks; Rams have eight. … Rams get first home game in 35 days after two East Coast trips, London “home” game, and bye week. … Hometown fans missed Rams’ transformation into legit playoff contender with three straight wins.
