PHOENIX (AP) - A man says he got through the security check and boarded a flight at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport while holding the wrong ticket.

KNXV-TV reports that Ed Davis says American Airlines issued him a ticket with the wrong first name, an error he didn’t notice until he had boarded the flight last month.

Another passenger told Davis that he was in the wrong seat, and Davis was removed from the flight.

American Airlines officials say the duplicate ticket should have been caught, and Transportation Security Administration officials say they are conducting an internal review of the incident.

Davis says the airline gave him a $200 voucher, but he missed the flight he was intended to be on. His luggage made it on the right flight.
