LAS VEGAS (AP) - A recently released arrest report says a Henderson man told investigators he shook his infant daughter to death.

The Las Vegas Sun reports police say 21-year-old Anthony Martzen made the statement after submitting to a polygraph exam during an investigation into the shaking death of his 6-month-old daughter on Oct. 23.

He was arrested last week on one count of murder and one count of child abuse.

According to the report released this week by Henderson police, Martzen described how he saw his daughter’s eyes roll to the back of her head before she became lifeless.

Police say a University Medical Center doctor found that it was not the first time the baby had been shaken.

No attorney or publicly listed phone number was immediately available for Martzen.
