Barring another last-minute — and unlikely — reprieve, the Dallas Cowboys will face the Atlanta Falcons without Ezekiel Elliott on Sunday.

According to multiple reports, the NFL Players Association’s appeal of the NFL’s six-game suspension of the Cowboys running back was denied in a Manhattan federal court on Thursday.

The NFLPA could appeal the decision, but experts say the ruling is now likely to stand.

In addition to this weekend, Elliott would miss the Cowboys’ upcoming games against the Eagles, Chargers, Redskins, Giants and Raiders. The Redskins game is Thanksgiving night in Dallas.

Elliott will be eligible to return for the 5-3 Cowboys’ final two regular season games against the Seahawks and Eagles.
