JAMESTOWN, Ohio (AP) - The State Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old driver in a car caused a crash with a school bus in southwestern Ohio, injuring the teen and some passengers on the bus.

The Dayton Daily News reports the teen driver and 11 passengers from the bus were taken to a hospital for evaluation after the Monday morning collision on a road south of Jamestown.

The Greeneview Local School District later said children were treated for minor injuries and released.

State troopers say the teen driver was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance from another vehicle.
