Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is out Sunday against the Toronto Raptors with a shoulder injury.
Wizards coach Scott Brooks said guard Tim Frazier would start in Wall’s place.
Wall hurt his shoulder during the second half on Friday when he ran into Channing Frye and hit the ground hard in a 130-122 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wall received X-rays, which were negative, and left Capital One Arena with a sling around his shoulder.
Yahoo Sports reported Saturday that further tests on Wall’s shoulder showed no structural damage.
Sources: After tests on injured shoulder, Wizards star John Wall has no structural damage, just soreness. Listed as questionable vs. Raptors.
