An Army veteran said Minnesota Sen. Al Franken touched her inappropriately during a photo-op, according to a CNN report aired Thursday.

Stephanie Kemplin said Mr. Franken, a Democrat, cupped her breast during a 2003 USO tour. She was stationed overseas at the time and wanted a picture with the former “Saturday Night Live” comic.

“When he put his arm around me, he groped my right breast. He kept his hand all the way over on my breast,” Ms. Kemplin told CNN.

“It was long enough that he should have known if it was an accident. I’m very confident saying that,” she added.

A spokesman for Mr. Franken told CNN that the senator “takes thousands of photos” and “has never intentionally engaged in this kind of conduct.”

Ms. Kemplin is the fifth woman to come forward about Mr. Franken’s inappropriate behavior. He has said he intends to cooperate with the ethics investigation, but he does not plan on resigning at this time.
