Stephen K. Bannon plans to campaign with GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore next week at a rally in Alabama, despite the continued controversy surrounding the judge’s candidacy.

Mr. Bannon, who was among Mr. Moore’s early backers, will join the candidate in Fairhope, Alabama, on Dec. 5 ahead of the special election on Dec. 12, ABC News reported.

Mr. Moore has come under fire in recent weeks, accused of sexual misconduct for allegedly pursuing relationships with teenage girls when he was in his 30s.

He defeated incumbent Sen. Luther Strange in the Republican primary, prior to these allegations becoming public.

Mr. Moore faces Democrat Doug Jones in the election. The Senate seat was vacated when Jeff Sessions became the attorney general.
