NIAGARA, N.Y. (AP) - C.J. Massinburg scored 25 points, Jeremy Harris and Dontay Caruthers added 23 apiece and Buffalo rolled to a 106-87 win over Niagara on Wednesday night.
Nick Perkins added 16 points for the Bulls (3-2), who were playing their first true road game.
Massinburg, who recently made the all-tournament team in the Cayman Islands, was 8 of 10 from the field with four 3-pointers, eight rebounds and four assists. Caruthers shot even better, making 10 of 11. Harris had five 3-pointers, seven rebounds and five assists.
Buffalo jumped out to a quick 5-0 with a Massinburg 3-point play and added a 12-0 run to go up by 20 late in the first half, and led 46-34 at halftime. An early 15-3 run and a late six-point spurt had the Bulls up by 28 with 4:34 to play. Buffalo made 20 of 28 from the field in the second half and finished at 59 percent (19 of 38) for the games.
Matt Scott had 29 points and Kahil Dukes had 28 for the Purple Eagles (3-5).
