Warner Bros. Television has fired Andrew Kreisberg as executive producer on The CW’s “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” following multiple allegations of sexual harassment.
“After a thorough investigation, Warner Bros. Television Group has terminated Andrew Kreisberg’s employment, effective immediately,” the studio said in a statement Wednesday, Variety reported.
The news comes after Warner Bros., which produces all four TV shows along with Berlanti Productions, suspended Mr. Kreisberg earlier this month pending an internal investigation into his conduct.
Nineteen men and women who worked on the series told Variety in a Nov. 10 report that they were either subjected to or witnessed incidents of Mr. Kreisberg engaging in inappropriate behavior with employees, including unwanted touching, kissing and harassing comments.
Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, of Berlanti Productions, said they supported the studio’s decision to sever ties with Mr. Kreisberg.
“Warner Bros. Television Group recently concluded its investigation into the allegations against Andrew Kreisberg,” they said in a joint statement. “We encouraged and supported this investigation, we believe and support the individuals who came forward, and we agree with the studio’s decision. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of all our colleagues — coworkers, crew and staff alike.”
