MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Rodrick Sikes hit a 3-point jumper with 20 seconds left to give South Alabama a 55-52 win over New Orleans for the 11th straight time Sunday afternoon.

Sikes hit a trey to give the Jaguars a 51-50 lead with 2:02 left, but Bryson Robinson dunked with :56 left to put the Privateers in front, 52-51.

The Jaguars’ Herb McGee missed a field goal from deep and Josh Ajayi missed a put-back attempt. New Orleans’ Troy Green missed a free throw that would have padded the lead.

South Alabama (4-3) came into the game looking to rebound from an 81-77 loss to Stetson in overtime Wednesday. Before losing 11 straight meetings, New Orleans (1-4) had won eight of nine games against the Jaguars, including two in overtime.

Sikes finished with 15 points and Ajayi added 13 for South Alabama.

Tavin Thibodeaux had 14 points to lead New Orleans.
