The deadline for filing nomination papers to run for open seats in the 10th Senate District, the 58th Assembly District and the 66th Assembly District was 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Seven candidates, including three Republicans, three Democrats and one Libertarian filed to run for the Senate seat.
One of the Republicans, Ken Rimer, turned in only 389 valid signatures but needed 400 to get on the ballot. The Libertarian candidate, Brian Corriea, also filed only 393 valid signatures.
